Our first chapter meeting of the new season is Family Night/Membership Night on Thursday, September 21, from 5:30-9:00 pm at the Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery in Mattawan (34270 County Road 652, just off of M-43 west of Kalamazoo).
Bring your family, and bring friends and acquaintances who enjoy fishing and/or care about our rivers. This meeting is a great opportunity for new members to learn about and join one of the most active TU chapters in the country, and for existing members to celebrate our successes.
The facility is offering a special hatchery tour starting at 5:30. You can also explore the grounds and museum, and enjoy casting demonstrations and casting to the many species in the pond.
We’ll have a cookout hosted by the chapter – a dish to pass is welcome. After dinner we’ll gather in the meeting room to see and hear highlights of KVCTU’s activities and accomplishments this past year, followed by our annual business meeting and elections.
Hope to see you there, with your family and friends!
