Our December Show & Tell meeting is a special time for members who have had recent fishing adventures to give short presentations on their trips. We’ll also enjoy a Swap-A-Fly exchange as a special holiday treat.
- Show & Tell will feature Tom Morse, who will talk about guarding spawning sturgeons in the Black River, as part of Sturgeon for Tomorrow Then Marco Kamimura, a Youth Trout Camp graduate, will share tales of whopper browns, steelhead, and brookies in Michigan and Montana, with tips and recommendations for your next trip.
- Swap-A-Fly is a fun way to give yourself a holiday gift. Bring a dozen of your favorite fish-getter flies, and be ready to bargain for a selection of your fellow members’ go-to flies. Bring a dozen, go home with a dozen—and if you’re very persuasive and lucky, one of them could be pink!
We will be meeting at the Fountains.
The meeting is open to the general public, and there is no cost if you do not have the meal. All of our meetings and events are smoke free.
Wet Lines cocktail hour and the fly exchange begins at 6:00 pm and the dinner begins at 7:00 pm. The program begins at 7:45.
This will be a fun evening—don’t forget to bring flies and a friend!
